Donation & Refund Policy

Helping Hands has instituted a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations as digital payments are becoming more frequent. Helping Hands expects all donors to exercise due care and diligence while making donations. Helping Hands also recognizes that a donation may be made erroneously or donors may change their mind. Helping Hands shall examine requests for refund of donation and shall make an endeavour to make the refund on a case to case basis. Helping Hands may also seek proper explanation and reasons from the donor for such refund. It is further clarified that such refund, may require further verification of the donor and Helping Hands may require documents of proof and of the donation made by the donor.

It is made clear that Helping Hands is not obliged to make refunds and may, at its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.
